Directing

I love making movies. Ever since I was six years old and my family let me pick up the video camera, I have been making short films. The process of collaboration and creative problem solving to overcome limitations is something I cherish. This passion took me to Emerson College, where I graduated with a BFA in film production. While I often jump into the horror pool, I've created stories in the comedy, romance, and music genre as well. My shorts have appeared in festivals from Los Angeles to New England, and have included most recently Salem Horror Fest and the New Hampshire Film Festival. Below is a selection of some of my recent efforts.

  • TOAST - Full Short Film

    TOAST - Full Short Film

TOAST is a short that makes fun of one the most overused cliches in action: the restaurant confrontation. The film begins with Rooker and Harris, a classic action hero and villain, meeting at the Friendly Toast restaurant for their final standoff. However, things get a bit awkward when their trope is confronted by Paige, a waitress who is tired of action movie characters having standoffs in her restaurant. And worst of all, they never leave a tip.

Ida Black - The Tale of the Bucksport Witch

  • The Back of the Tree (A Christmas Horror Short Film)

The Back of the Tree (A Christmas Horror Short Film)

The front of the tree looks pleasant, full of childhood memories, holiday traditions, and ornaments from vacations past. But the back of the tree... that’s where the odd ones go. The outcasts, the ones given by relatives so you feel compelled to put them up, the ones beat up by years in storage. And for some, that’s where secrets hang, just out of plain sight.
